Anti-skid roller, also known as anti-skid roller cylinder, is a cylindrical part, divided into driving and driven roller. Widely used in such as rotary screen printing machine, digital printer, mining conveying equipment, paper and packaging machinery and other transmission systems.

Anti-skid roller, usually made of seamless steel tube, also depending on the different process needs to use such as aluminum 6061T5, 304L/316L stainless steel, 2205 duplex stainless steel, cast steel, solid forged alloy steel core material.

The production of anti-skid roll mainly consists of initial turning of roll body, static balance of initial calibration, interference assembly and welding of shaft head, fine turning and dynamic balance of fine calibration, etc. If the tolerance of shape and position, such as roundness, cylindricity and straightness, is less than 0.2mm, it needs to be grinded by cylindrical grinder or roller grinder after finishing. If the surface hardness is required, the heat treatment procedure shall be added.

After the roller is formed, the surface treatment or coating such as spray painting, galvanizing, Teflon coating, rubber coating, chrome plating, ceramic coating and oxidation are also required for the need of corrosion prevention, wear resistance and support.

Anti-skid rollers are classified according to size. There are large rollers for paper making machinery (the length can reach more than 10 meters and the diameter is more than 1500mm), and small ones for belt conveying on automatic assembly line (generally within 1 meter length and the diameter is less than 159mm).
